Well, I put on my handles last night and got it all cleaned up. You can also see my exhaust that I put on like a month ago and forgot to take pics of.....Anyway they came out VERY nice, I think they look awesome!

They dont seem to be the same color as your truck.

 

That last picture makes it look like that but trust me, they are a perfect match from any angle.......I don't know why the camera does that.......

Did you paint them yourself or did you end up getting them done?

How much paint and clear did you use, if you did it yourself?

My true blue baby is just beggin for those handles... Trying to decide if I get them painted by my fiance and his dad, who did his drag car, monster truck, and jetski, or dish out more money and get them done professionally?

Looks good....I've installed my LT Tailgate and rear door handles - still waiting for the fronts to arrive! That true blue sure would look great with the gloss black B pillar trim pieces!!

 

Looks great! Those door handles really clean up the sides of these trucks. Good to see more people taking the plunge to paint them!

 

I tried doing them myself and the clear stage never came out right. The blue looked great, smooth and no orange peel, but when I cleared them, they looked very bad. LOTS of orange peel and not shiny at all. I had the guys do it that paint our cars at work and they did it in like 10 minutes and they are really shiny and smooth!

 

Looking good! As a fellow TB owner, may I request a picture? I'd like to one see a little closer. A side picture including the fender badge to the rear of the cab should do it. Can you also get one without as much sun glare?

Man I'm sounding picky now, don't get me wrong I'm loving it. True Blue...

Magnaflow SISO #16612...very nice sounding! I'll get those pics tommorow MAYBE, if it will stop raining.....were supposed to get rain for the next day or so.

 

They look great. I just painted my LT handles on friday night. Color is aspen green. Just installed them today.. what a world of difference!!!


for the question above... I just bought a 1/2 pint and didnt even use it all. I painted all four door handles and tailgate handle. As for the clear I forget how much I used... I already had it though.
