Coil Spacers and Shackles for a 91 4x4

I cant seem to get any input from the pre 97 guys so if anyone here can help me id appreciate it.

I want to use coil spacers and shackles to get a lilttle lift on my 91 F150 4x4.

Im only doing it for looks and to run bigger tires. Is this an ok thing to do just for those reasons since i wont be offroading it at all?

Thanks

Ryan

haha before someone jumps on you i may as well ansewr your question, the coil and shackle lift should work fine, just remember youll have to get an alignment on the front, which may mean youll need a camber kit, they run about $60 plus the alignment. you may also need a set of shim for the back, if you get a vibration or anything from the shackles. those will be $20 if you need them. other than that, there is nothing wrong wtih it, just get decent coil spacers. dont get those universal chunks of rubber that go between the coils. get something made specifically for your truck.

PS where in NC are you?

Im in Cornelius NC.

And for the record my main ride is a 04F150 XLT. This ole 91 is my beat around but im restoring it since its been such a good truck. It only has 115k on straight 6 4.9L so it will be running for years to come.

Thanks for the help
