thinking of installing a ricer under body light kit-

I am thinking of ordering up an underbody light kit like all the ricers have... but instead of neon I was thinking of LED and the color white. Going to install the 2 larger side lights under my truck wired to my interior lights so at night when i unlock my truck and also when the door is open most of the ground under and around my truck would be lit up. I would also use the 2 shorter led bars and put one on either side tucked up under my bed rails and wired to my doors as well. This way I can light my bed up since I have a retrax cover.... this way when the tailgate is down and the cover is closed I can see in the bed of my truck at night.

thoughts?

I'm not sure you will get all the light you are looking for underneath with just two bars. You will get enough around the doors if you place them directly beneath them, but with the height of the F-150's, it isn't going to be that bright. I am planning on using a 4 tube kit that I already have in the bed. I'll install it along with the snug top tonneau and bed rug that I plan to get. The neon is turquoise colored, and I think I will just be going with three tubes instead of 4.

Make sure to post some pictures when you're done!

I've been wanting to do this for a while too, but never got around to it. If my mind serves me correct, I think back in the day, Ford used to offer this as a factory accessory saying it was for added safety.
