What's wrong with me?

I can't figure this out!! About once every 3-4 months, I get BORED with my vehicle. I have the itch to switch yet again, this time from my '05 STX to an '05 Lariat Crew Cab. Hell, the payment difference would only be about 120 a month (I already figured it out at D-plan pricing, since I work at a dealership). I've had the STX for 3 months now, and it just isnt doing it for me anymore. I drove the Lariat (which is the all black and tan leather combo BTW) the other day, and the power of the 5.4 combined with the tan leather and the flow through, nice Lariat gauges/message center, etc.. got to me. What do I do? And please have some empathy here...anyone else have this problem?

Stick with the STX! If you upgrade to Lariat, then you're going to start eyeing King Ranch Editions....then you're REALLY in trouble! Just remember, that 120 a month can solve the boredom problem a lot easier if it goes towards mods. Just wait for the Kenny Bell supercharger to come out for the 4.6, I PROMISE you won't get bored!

Seems like you've come down with a case of boredomitis and should see a doctor... or better yet try NOT driving your truck for a week or two and take
a bus or walk and you'll soon figure out that the STX is better then you think.

Yes someone else has the same problem. My '05 F-150 was car #61 for me. I had the GTO that I traded in on it for about 7 months. My record is 7 weeks which I've done twice. I also work at a Ford dealership. It's a dangerous place to be with this disease.

Funny thing was that before we got married she told me it would be the last truck for a while. So I ran, not walked, to the nearest Ford Dealer and told them I needed a loaded F150 ASAP. When I came home with that new truck she was ticked. Because I had the last one 8 months! I reminded her what she said. But I will be happy when this one is paid off.
