Just thought I'd post a few pics of my new truck. Got it two weeks ago and just installed the autospring on today. Hopefully in a month or two it will be a lot higher with a new set of wheels/tires. Thanks for all the information from everyone on this site....

I got the autospring level kit for my 05 FX4 and my dealership couldnt even get them in!! I dont have tools since I moved here so I figured just let them do it since they were going to have to align it as well. YEP! couldnt get the spindle hooked back up to the ball joint. They would pry down on the upper A arm and it would hit the coil and when they tried to lift up on the lower control arm the whole truck would move up, not just the spring. I told them to move the jack out more cause it was in the middle of it and they said it wouldnt work. So I dont know what to do now. And I am getting rims and tires this weekend. 325/60/18 so I need the lift!!

 

I'm going with a 35" tire and the MB 6 gunner wheels in 18x8.5 chrome....Still deciding on a fabtech or the cst lift. Any suggestions???

As far as installing the autospring, I took the advice of someone on here that used a rachet strap to work the upper a arm back onto the spindle. That worked like a charm with very little effort on my part. Forgot who posted that but thanks again!!!

I had the fagtech on my 2500 hd and i ended up trading the truck in because I couldnt get it to keep an alignment. I tore up my parnelli's bad. I would go with the cst, also it keeps the front track width closer to factory specs. They are cool lookin too.
