Anyone installed these air bags for rear springs?

http://www.suspensionconnection.com/...0.html#ITEMIMG

I have noticed when I load up the bed it tends to squat in the back with the front sitting higher. I am thinking about using these to prevent that from happening under load. Anyone used these before and how was the install and reliability?

thanks

I've had several ... they work great ... except when empty and on dirt roads ... you can't seem to get enough air out! They stiffen the ride considerably even when set to min psi of 5.

This time around I just got a wild hair thought I'd try RAS or Roadmaster Active Suspension that I ran across ... sort of figured it was somewhat gimicky ... but to my supprise ... they work great!

Tycreek, have you got a part number for those? Curious, but can not find the 04-05 part number. I might try a light duty pair if I could find them.
Chris

Whoops, found I had a dated link, now I have the part number. Who did you go through?
thanks

I just used the contact page ... and chatted back and forth with a Sales Mgr. John. Could've save a couple bucks through one of the other outlets ... but figured heck I'll just get them from the source for a few extra bucks. Also, that I got good response from them and he almost matched the best price I found that was still listed.

Was interesting that the too good to be true, so to speak, price I had found and tucked away was changed shortly after talking to John. Oh, well ... ! I think I paid a bit over $200 if I remember ... for the HD ones.

Adjustment on these is not as easy as a shot of air like with air bags ... but I've only adjusted them the one time when I backed them down from a max setting and haven't wanted or needed further adjustment.

Sprug tight (max) you can tell they are there ... but on a loose setting I can not tell they are on. The bilstein shocks were definitly more noticable than the RAS especially on a light (tight dime vs quarter) adjustment. BTW, adjustments are done at full axle droop.

Having had overloads, air bags, new springs, etc... in the past ... I bought them thinking; well maybe something could be better ... but I'd never really know unless I tried them!? ... now I know ... have zero regret, glad I took the chance! All the previous options always had a major negative aspect that you had to live with. With these I'm not sure what the downside is yet?

Worst thing is after full droop install and adjustment ... the first bump has a noise associated as they seat again and then quiet there after. If it was noisy or harsh I wouldn't stand for it!

Check my gallery for pics. I haven't loaded the truck up with them on there yet. I'm in the middle of hooking up autometer air pressure gauges to monitor the individual spring pressures. If they leak much I will be switching over to compression style fittings for the air lines. Installation was easy.

I've got em also. Put them on a year ago to tow my 29' TT and they work great! I dont notice any stiffer ride outa them when deflated either. Combined with the Bilstien shocks it is a great setup IMHO.
