Dirt in the bottom of the door

hey ive noticed this for awhile never real bothered me just wash a pain to clean, but everytime i wash my truck i notice that the seam at the bottom of the door (on the inside) collects dirt, now, this isnt a big deal but wouldnt this promote rust in that area? and if so, how can we prevent dirt from collecting there...

I use the air-compressor and just blow the dirt out. It makes a mess of things so just do it before you vacum the inside.

Cover each of the door seams with a length of cut-to-fit 1/4" X 5/8" black foam tape (the type with the peel-off one-sided adhesive similar to the type used to seal canopies to the bed).

I've noticed this too. I just wipe the inside door jam with a damp cloth before I vacuum and detail the inside. I use the same cloth to wipe down the engine area and under the hood.
