Water in mirror turn signals
Water in mirror turn signals
Ok, I swear I did a search and didn't find anything on this
But I could also swear I've heard people talk about it.
The last time I washed my truck, a day later I noticed very heavy condensation in my driver's side outside mirror turn signal. You know, the yellow LED bar below the mirror. It took about 3 days for it to dry out and it still works fine. Has anyone had water in theirs? Any problems with it - like it killed the turn signal or made it not so bright? Is this something that requires the entire mirror assembly to be replaced?
Also, something odd. I rotated my tires and now I have a definite shake between 70 and 80 (usually). Comes and goes, but it's usually there. Now I see why Ford sent the letter out saying they'll cover the BFG tires for the full length of the vehicle warranty. If it keeps up, I'll take it to the dealer to have them look at it and maybe the mirror signals as well. I'm already at 31k miles...not much time left.

Lariat,
If they rotated the tires and you now have a vibe, it could be the tire is not properly balanced, or you could have a "hot spot" in the tire, which would never balance out. I would definately have them road force balance both fronts first, and if it continues you could have a bad tire.

I rotated the tires myself
It was immediately after that when I noticed the vibe. I'll have to get it in sometime soon. I hate to take it in though...inconvenient, etc. Might have to though. Wanna get all the warranty stuff done before it expires.
