Sound and Smokin - both your trucks look AWESOME!! I'm going back and forth between what look I want for my '05 Lariat SCREW 4x4.....have started down the LT path - all 5 handles, LT mirrors, shift handle, '04 gloss "B" pillar trim pieces but have seen a few of the black '05's with the black body matching bumpers and chrome wheels and I'm thinking I may want to exchage my front chrome bumper for a body color one.....too many choices!!

PS Sound - are you sure you want to add the inner reflector piece on the tailgate....looks kind of "tacked on at the last minute" IMO anyway...

yeah i know it does, but.... theres no other way to distinguish the lincoln from an F150. i havent done it yet, becuse i cant afford it. i really dont know what i will do. any suggestions? i was going to put the reflectors on and then instead of the trim panel use a license plate bucket from a navigator, but i cant afford the body work for that either. haha, right now im broke, so nothing new any time soon!!

i have a primered foglight bumper just sitting at my house, but im looking for a chrome one, thats why i havent installed the fogs yet. too bad you dont live closer HotLap or we could trade

NP. I appreciate you taking the time to make the drawing and posting it. It'll help out alot. BTW, is that a functional hood scoop on your truck? I'm guessing you made it since I've seen the scoop you made for your other truck. Again, thanks for the help.

and GB150, its actually just the Roush hood scoop and they arent functional. the scoop on my other truck is from a mustang gt and is functional, but was damaged when i got it so i had to rig it up to work.

Smok][n, I wanted to thank you again. I installed the bumper and fog lights today and got the lights all wired up. Your drawing/schematic came in very helpful. The only thing I did differently was instead of running a wire to the light switch inside the cab to activate the switch in the relay, I spliced into the parking lamp wire like SoundPerformance mentioned he has done. I wasn't wanting to run a wire through the firewall.

So is it a 4 or 5 pin relay that I will need? Also is a 30 amp good enough?

Doesnt matter. 4 pin will use all the wires and 5 pin will not use the "center" one

Yes, most if not all automotive relays are 30 or 40amps.

if you use the 5 pin, one pin goes to one light and the center pin goes to another, i always use the 5 pin
