Need help installing bed rails!

Tried to install some chrome bed rails this weekend but didn't happen. Has anyone done this on the new body style? The rails were a take-off of a 97 f-150 reg cab. I know they will fit my stx but after drilling holes in my truck ,, I found out that the holes are in a hard place to get to. I think i will end up having to get longer all-thread bolts too.

Hmmm....that may have been something to check out BEFORE you drilled those holes eh? It's OK we've all been there. The best solution is probably what you came up with, longer bolts to make it easier to catch a thread. good luck!

If you will be able to get a socket and extension on the nut to tighten it, try using a short piece of rubber hose that the nut snuggly fits into to get them started.
