hate windshield reflection

Is it just me or do some of you also hate the terrible reflection of the dash on the windshield on sunny days? I have an fx4 w/blk dash w/silver center section. Has anybody come up with a solution yet. If not i'm going to try some black carpet or something.

I Armorall my dash and it makes it shine even worse but it doesn’t really bother me; mind over matter.

Yup, it does suck, but with polarized glasses the glare is completely gone.

nothinbutaford, I have a Dashmat from www.dashmat.com and I am quite pleased with it. It took longer to settle out and become wrinkle free than they said it would, but it is laying real smooth now. It fits very well. If you want to order one, call them on the phone as you can then order any color thread for the script. If you use the online order form, your color choices are limited.

It completely eliminated the glare in my windshield and I have received many compliments about it. AND... It sure beats cuttin up a piece of carpet! Eeewwww!

Thanks flagship. What color did you get? Can it be taken off quickly/easily? Before you guys think I'm nuts I should clarify CARPET I am talking about speaker box carpet or trunk liner. No I'm not going to **** the dash!!lol

I've never noticed a glare in my windshield. A while back someone else had posted about the glare problem. After reading that post I checked I dont see a glare in my windshield . I have a tan interior. Anyone w/ a tan interior have this problem?

I would go with the dashmat.com, there are some cheap versions out there, so dont try and save a buck, you will be dissapointed.

Oh my yes. Not a big problem, but it's definitely there.

I also have a slight distortion in the windshield. Again, not a real big problem, but it's there and annoying.

I'll tell you, if the truck stays at 95% mechanically/performance-wise, these issues will remain trivial, IMHO.
