Thanks Thumper

They are Autometer Cobalt Series gauges and I had the local shop install them for me as auto electrical is way beyond my capabilities. Although I did do the cluster swop which was fairly easy. The gauge install cost me 150.00 and they painted the pod to match the interior.
water temp-trans temp- and AF ratio.

Even if your truck is lifted I wouldn't use it, I'd just grab the steering wheel.

I dig it. Do they come in a green backlight?

Dzervit

I did see some on eBay motors that had green back lighting but I had never heard of the brand name so I was afraid to go with them. Check out www.speedhut.com you can design your own gauges with them, from graphics to back lighting to color of gauge face. You will be able to see the finished product right there on your computer. It's pretty cool. They just don't have as many gauge types to choose from which is why I chose Autometer.

You got the pod, pod painted, gauges and install for $150 or was it $150 to have them installed in addition to the price of the gauges, pod and painting? If you got it all and installed for $150 you got a heck of a bargain.

Sorry, I should have been more specific. I bought the gauges myself and paid the shop just for painting of the pod and installation. The pod was 56.00 the gauges were about 400.00 for the three and the install was 150.00 so you are looking at about a 600.00 mod but I spent about three months just buying stuff here and there and once I had all the parts I brought the truck in. I have been fine tuning the over all finish though as I did not completely like the way the shop installed the gauge pod. They used a lag bolt to secure the new pod to the existing a-pillar and did not bother to file down the top of the a-pillar so it was sticking out about 3/16 of an inch. I took it slightly apart and broke out the dremel for the second time and have been carefully grinding back the a-pillar so the fit is much tighter. I wish I knew how to do all this automotive stuff myself. You just can't get people to do nice work, I swear!

It looks great . I was thinking about the same 3 gauges you have and putting them on my A pillar. I dont know that I can spend 6 bones on gauges though.

I mean hell its just money!

Doesn't everyone wish they could win the lottery even if they could just spend the money on their truck?

I know it wouldnt ever stop either..we all need help.

Yeah

That is why it took me three months to do. Well worth the wait as far as I'm concerned. You can get gauges for much less than I paid, they just won't be backlit. This mod could be done for way less, and cheaper yet if you can do the work yourself.
