Cool Rear 4x4 decal removal

I remember somebody on here took their rear 4x4 decal off and put it in the wheelwell. The last time I took my decal off from my 02 it was unusable, I used heat. How do you get the decal off without ruining it?

I removed mine in one piece using my finger nails and only ruined it when i crumpled it up and put it in the garbage.
If i wanted to im sure i could have stuck it somewhere else, but the garbage seemed just the perfect place for it!
Later Trev

I don't think you can do it without ruining the decal. They aren't supposed to be reused.

I guess in theory its possible if you have a couple of hours to spend

It was probably easier for you because Canadian hours have 100 minutes instead of our 60.

They're not that expensive to replace if you want to go back to them... I don't think there's a good way to salvage them honestly.

Isn't that a kilohour? I know it's not a centihour cause that just sounds weird.

Well, when I peeled em off my diesel, as I don't like the look of the "gaudy" off road logo, the one that was on the sunny side just came right off with a plastic razor blade. The other side was ruined as it kept splitting. Why can't ford just use the late 80s early 90s plain ole 4x4 stickers. I liked those.

All I know is, when those Canadian guys brag about making $12 an hour, I sit down here with my calculator and giggle.

that would be 100 hours, or 1 week.

100 centi-minutes would equal an hour.

OF course, everything is based on 10, 100 or 1000 so a metric clock would need to resolve some things... would it be 100 seconfs to the minute, 100 minutes to the hour and then what? 10 or 100 hours in a day? 10 or 100 days in a week?

Either way, it still require me working more for less pay.

Damned metric system.

Which for anyone that cares, comes courtesy of the French (as if you didnt already have reason to dislike them)

So...if you had each day be 100 whatevers...and there were 1000 milliwhatevers or 100 centiwhatevers to each whatever, and 1000 whatevers to a kilowhatever, then it still wouldn't change the fact that the French suck?
