roof rack worry

Anyone try to install a Yamika rack on your 04-05 reg cab? I'm in the middle of it right now and I can't see how the Q-clips are supposed to fit in the door jams WITHOUT completely crushing and permanently deforming the rubber door seal. I thought the dang thing was supposed to "fit like a glove". I'm afraid if I go through with the install that the door seals will leak like a s.o.b.
I'm putting it on there because I want to be able to mount stuff like antennas and light bars up there without drilling holes in the roof.

I have not, but I would not force it. They have numerous mounting devic es, and perhaps you did not get teh right clips.

When I used to have Q-Towers for my car, the Q-Clips would fit behind the rubber seal, make sure you have the right clips for the F150 and see if you can place them behind the seal...you will leak real bad if you place the clips over the seals...hope that helps.
