New to site
Hello to all-
I actually joined a few weeks ago, and have just been cruising the the site just to get the hang of it. I drive an 05 black on black lariat screw,I'm coming from an 03 lightning. Family is expanding so the L had to go.
I have a couple of questions for you guys. I really like the black headlights. I was wondering if the ones off of the 05 expeditions fit our trucks.If they don't have any of you guys bought any of the ones on ebay? Do you guys recommend a certain brand? My goal is to black out my truck 
. Right now it has chrome bumpers and grill bezell,it also has a goldish colored grill 
not exactly my favorite. Thanks in advance.

Welcome! You'll quickly find a lot of answers by searching for just the right keywords.
As for the headlights, no the Expedition lights will not fit our F150's. There are basically a few types on ebay ... DEPO, projectors, and (?). A few have had water leaks with the DEPOs, but I'm told that putting on some sealant prior to installation should fix this potential problem. Try the following on ebay:
+ford (f-150,f150) +(04,2004,05,2005) +(projector,headlights)
As for the "grill bezell," that's called the "surround" here on the forums. Yes, with a Lariat, you get chrome. I got lucky and found another forum member who wanted my chrome ... even swap for his black XLT grille and surround. You can try to pick one up on ebay or just buy it outright. Search for my username and "surround" and you'll find contact info for sellers, etc. Try the following for grilles on ebay:
(f-150,f150) +ford +(04,2004,05,2005) +(grille,grill,honeycomb) -(billet,putco,street,harley,brush,bull,guard,stain less)
Want to get rid of those chrome bumpers ... well, I'm pretty sure you'll have to pay several hundred to the dealership for those. But, they may (or may not) buy your chromes for a few bucks. That, or you can try to sell them on ebay, etc.
