Nice looking truck, looking foward to see more pics. Everytime I see a black one I bite my lip and wish I would a got mine in black. I listened to a bunch of friends, told me they are to hard to keep clean. Well now that I'm retired, I got lots of time.

black- its beautiful! but your friends are 100% correct it is a PITA to keep clean... like three times a week... monday wednesday and saturday. every time i go outside and look at mine it gets dirtier...pollen- dust- you name it, it seems to cling to the black... might as well go run it through a mud pit test out the sealability of the new rollbak

It costs almost as much to have grass as it does to drive my truck. Which would you choose? I can't wait to move back to the Southeast where grass is not a luxury item.

the directions left a little bit to be desired- quite a few 'assumed' steps not too big of omissions though, else wise went pretty well- took about 1.5 hrs to install- my lock spring bar- the aluminum one you intall nearly last had a bend in it, but took care of that. had to reset the tracks once i put the roll lid on to get things alligned lengthwise correctly (making a clean seal at the tailgate, and getting the right distance for the lid to fit perfectly , and found that the rails are easier to install with the cover rolled out and locked. nice lookin cover- havent uploaded the pics yet- needs a good wash to get the wd 40 overspray off of it. will check water tightness at that point too-. jimmy did/have you waxed the cover? its black and man that 85 degree sunny weather turns that into a skillet back there!!! want to protect it from any fading. if you did, any hints on keeping the wax out of the seams? love how clean the lines are on it- super low profile. rattles a bit with the airflow, but no biggie, cant hear that unless the rear window's open.
nice cover- so far i recommend it- will back that up for sure when i get'er wet.

[QUOTE=BalogUK]the directions left a little bit to be desired-

I thought so too, but when I called them to ask about the ease of how the cover should roll up, the" English gentleman" told me the directions were "quite clear". I actually had to adjust the pass. side so the cover contacted the tailgate better. BTW, If you use silicone spray on the tracks, it operates much better.

I actually put 2 coats on it and didn't have any problems getting the wax out with a rag and on rare occasion, a paint brush. It is a P.I.T.A. to keep looking good though(especially after rain) I found Armor All, believe it or not, to work very well(works on black nerf bars too) but dosen't last very long. I would say it's 95% water tite and I also would recommend it and also love the super low pro.
