Glad to hear it. I'm actually looking at an '05 Lariat as a replacement for my POS.

I feel for you, I am in the same boat. My truck is still in the shop for a new engine. This is the 4th time it has been in the shop for rough idle and other BS, totaling 47 days and still counting. I called Ford's 800 number to complain and was supposed to get a reply within three days, and am still waiting 11 days later. So, I called the former DSB line, now BBB, and requested a packet.
I asked my service manager if he knew anything about Ford buying back lemons, and he told me that Ford doesn’t do that anymore, so I will see what the BBB has to say before, I get a lawyer.
I am so frustrated that a 40K truck has this many problems, 1/5 of my time owning this truck it has been at the dealer.

I work for Ford and if they want to stay # 1 in truck sales they better step up. I had the front end shudder between 45 and 70 mph with 15k on the truck. They replaced the front rotors . 6k later no shake in front end. The rearend is slamming hard now at 2k rpm take off's this is soft driving will have to go to stealership and box this one out . Had the shudder in from the start when taking off.

Evidently people were too successful with the DSB. That's probably why Ford abolished it!

What kind of offer did everyone recieve on there replacement offer? Long story short, I had the vib problem. Away after 7 repair attemps, Ford said they would replace the truck. I recieved their offer today and it said I would have to choose a new Ford equal or greater in value but was not eligible to receive any rebates or incentives currently available. I would be responsible for the difference between the two different MSRP's. I don't think this sounds right. What is everyone elses thought on this? Thanks for your input.

I think it sounds fair. Its what I have discussed with my dealer. I had a decent incentive package when I got mine. Im prettys sure if I had to start all over today I would lose some of the incentives.

Sounds fair to me too. They are giving you your money back at MSRP and the only thing you will need to pay is the difference for the new vehicle. What is wrong with that??
