hey, im gettin ready to buy an air intake and was wondering about the best one for the 5.4 ive done allot of searching and nobody seems to say wich one they preffer and i was just wondering what some of the pros and cons of the airforce one and airraid were.

I'm a noob and I know everyone prefers the AF1.

 

AF1 makes a few more ponies than the Airaide and it looks a whole lot better to boot. They are both good intakes. I bought the AF1 because I want all the power I can get.

 

Yeah, the AF1 would be the best according to many many posts. Now if you had a 4.6, like I do, I frankly wouldn't bother with an intake. Or at least it would be at the bottom of the list.

The 5.4 factory intake seems to be a bit of a dog. The 4.6 seems to work pretty good.
