AF1, anyone got one from Troyer Performance yet?
I too have been waiting for about 3 weeks now and was assured it would be in no later than 6/3/05.....I cancelled my order yesterday and reordered from another source (by the way I did not originally order from Troyer - whom I have heard nothing but positive feedback about) but the vendor I did order from had no intention of contacting me and giving me a status update....and yet when I called yesterday - they had already charged my credit card for the product even though it had not been shipped, nor did they have any clue as to when it would be available!!! I have never delt with a vendor who charges for product that has not been shipped - that's just dishonest......OK -off rant now -
Good News is that I called a friend from the Mustang source who works for an aftermarket company locally and he helped me get a VERY good deal on the AF1 intake, from a reliable source and although I'm still waiting - I trust this person and can't wait to get my intake!!!!

Technically speaking, the tube looks similar, it IS steel, and the filter does have the "velocity stack" or whatever they call that horn shaped thing behind the filter.
Unless Troyer says I'm an idiot (Anita didn't say anything BAD about it) I'm just gonna do the MAC.
Troyer Performance is too classy to trash talk other products and vendors. Troyer has done testing of many different intakes out there for the new 5.4L3v engine and their research shows that only 2 intakes made any significant power gains AND do not cause a serious lean condition due to the redesigned MAS sensor on these engines. Those 2 intakes were the AirForce1 and the Airaide. The rest of them are all show and no go. I put my trust in Troyer and their expertise hasn't failed me yet. Good luck with whatever you choose.

I ordered my AF 1 last week and got an email tonight from Troyer that they are shipping them this week, direct from AF 1. It was a batch email, so I presume many of you might have or will be shortly receiving this notice. Should be fun for us all once they arrive. I know the product is coming because they charged my account tonight also, which Troyer said they would do only when they shipped the product...
