Autospring and All terrains

I am driving a 2004 Lariat supercrew and i was looking into getting some BFG all terrains with a leveling kit. If i level the truck what size BFG All terrains with stock rims, can i fit without rubbing? Also if anyone knows, with a leveling kit can i put rancho 9000 shocks on the front and back?

I've got the 2" autospring with BFG 285/70/17's on 8" rims, no rubbing. The shocks are unaffected by the autospring. You can keep the stock shocks, or replace with any shocks compatible with stock. I used Bilsteins...

Rancho just introduced a RS9000 for the front of the new F-150's. It has adjustable preload, so you won't need a leveling kit. As for tires, you can fit 315/70-17's (35x12.50) with a leveling kit, if you keep the stock wheels. If you have 18's, BFG makes the MT KM in 35x12.50-18 but I don't think they make that size in the AT KO.

So the rancho 9000 shocks will increase the height if you want

I have heard the 315's fit and several guys have them. they would be a vary tight fit I would say. but those tires are rated to fit rims no smaller than 8 inches wide and the stock rim is 7 inches wide so you would probably want to run lower than normal air pressure in them. I wouldn't go above 35 psi if I put those tires on. I run the 285's and they fit well. also with the 315's you would probably want to get som fender flares as they will stick out past your fender a ways.

The stock 17 and 18 inch Ford wheels are 7.5 inches wide. Jasonkola is right, tire manufacturers recommend an 8 to 10 inch wide wheel for 315mm and 12.50 inch wide tires. I can only tell you that dozens of members here and at FTW have run 315/70-17 BFG AT KO's on stock 17x7.5 inch Ford wheels with no problems.

The kit wandell mentioned (rs99768) will raise the front 0-2.5 inches. I called rancho about it and they said it would'nt be out until july though. 4wheel parts quoted me a price of $212.00 for the kit when rancho starts delivery.
