Plastic moldings fading from sun!

Got a detailing question. What does everyone clean the plastic moldings on their truck with (plastic bed caps, wheel trim, mirrors)? I've had my FX4 for a year now and all I do is wash the truck. Well, I live in sunny Florida and it looks like the sun is starting to fade my black plastic trim. Is there anything out there to protect the plastic trim without drying it out and making it crack? Would using Armor All protect the plastic from the sun and keep it from fading? Thanks for any advice!

I use Eagle 1 on my tires but I use a 'tire sponge' to apply it. Every time I wash my truck I put it on the bed caps, mirrors, and the front bottom piece. It really makes a big difference in appearance and it seems like it covers up the wax that I get on it until I wash it off.

Check out some of the products specificially made for rubber or plastic trim that has UV protection. All of the quality brands, Meguiars, Mothers, Eagle 1, etc., have that protection. I'm sure other folks will have their favorite brands, and will help you out by mentioning them.

I've always used Mother's "Back To Black" on my plastic trim pieces. It has kept them looking like new for years!

The black plastic piece below my windsheild wipers is sort of turning white, looks like i will have to put a protectant on that.

Go w/ tonneau tonnic. It's about $6/bottle at the local shops, if they carry it, and it does not run off when it rains. Protects, restores. But it won't make anything super shiny like armor all or something. l love it.

I use 303 Aerospace Protectant. Keeps everything protected from the sun so that it doesn't dry out. As a side note, I found out that if you put it on your windshield wipers in the winter, ice won't accumulate on them as easy.

Thanks guys, I appreciate all of the responses! I needed some input as to what everyone else was using. The Florida sun is definitely taking its toll on my plastic trim. Beers on me!
