33 12.5

Hello all, and havent posted anything yet, so I will start now.I have 3.55 ls and was wondering if i swith to 33's do you need to have the speedo recalibrated or will it not be much of a difference over the stock set up. I have 265/70/17 right now. Any help would be great.Or if i need to search to find this then just tell me.

No you don't have to. The 33x12.50's are only and inch taller than your 265/70-17's. Your speedo will be off slightly, but that's all. I went from a 30 inch tall tire to 33's and my speedo is off 5mph at 60mph.

so when your speedometer reads 60mph, you're actually going about 55? or 65?

no, just the opposite. when your speedo reads 60, you'll probably be doing around 63.

Here is a handy tire calculator for entering the before and after tire size to see both the size changes and the speedo changes. Enjoy ...

http://www.discounttire.com
then choose "info center" then choose "tire calculator"

Here are my 33x12.5x18 ...

On my Screw, when my speedo says 60mph, I'm really doing 65mph. Remember thought, I went to a 3 inch taller.
