Unhappy oh the front end rake

ok, so im coming back from lunch and im pulling into the parking lot and oh my gosh! another black fx4 supercab! woohoo, so i go and park next to him just because i can. then the sadness sinks in. its a bone stock fx4- 17 wheels and the road tires. ive got the 18's and the rugged trail tires, and a grille guard. the rake on my truck is about 1/2-1" LOWER than his stock on 17's!!! SO theres only a handful of ways to fix this autospring.
my question is to which one I should get- i was previously thinking the 2" level (1-5/8" chunk o'metal) but after this depressing sight, i would possibly consider the 2.5" now, from the posts read, it seems there is some uncertainty with the 2.5, and rubbing, arms being out of angle etc... and that it may be wiser to go with the 2- if y'all FX 4 owners with autospring levels could chime in on your experiences, and advice i would be thankful

In my opinion, the 2" is the better one to go with. It seems less people have problems with them overall. If you want more than that, I say get a real lift. It also seems to me that the FX4s sit a little higher than AutoSpring claims...but I can't confirm that until I install mine next weekend when I get my Bilsteins in

I've never seen any problems with the Daystar leveling kit when installed properly.

Well I dont know just yet. BUT.. I talked with Kevin at Autospring, and he told me he has the 2.5" on his truck and if he drops it off a curb he wil get a little banging on the control arm or something underneath. We talked for a bit and after describing how I drive and how im going to use the truck ( it wil never be offroad) I decided to go with the 2.5" kit. Ordered it that night and just got it today. Only took 2 days to get it. I was surprised at how big and beefy it looks ang feels. So Im satisfied with the construction of it. Once I get my truck back from the shop I will install it and let you all know how it is.
