anyone with a SCAB have a rattle in the dome light??

Hello all,
My 05 fx4 scab seems to have a rattle up in the dome light area. I have the Moonroof, and it's the rear dome area. I've tried opening the glass piece, sliding the headliner piece. They don't affect it all. I can push up on the dome light or the headliner around it, and that makes it go away. Just wondering if anyone else has this rattle. I'm thinking it is just the wires to the light hitting the headliner cardboard.

Had a rattle that sounded like that, and I thought it was in the headliner/dome light area. Turned out to be the manual sliding rear window. I cleaned it and used a little household oil in the track and it has not returned

I'll have to look into that. Only wierd thing is, I can press on the dome light and the rattle goes away. I know it does it when I shut the doors. SO I'll have to get the fiance to come out and shut the doors a million times while I figure it out.

I was thinking about looking into that first. Cross members on the roof?

My rattle ended up being the clips that hold the dome light in. Some foam double sided tape has cured the problem for now. Just got the reflash on the ecu, and my first oil change. Now I am just waiting on the new window motor to come in for the passanger side. I don't like this three day thing without my truck. Only had it for a month now.

I had this same exact problem. Mine first started rattling on when the doors were closed. Later it started rattling driving down the road. I thought it was the back sliding window or the tailgate. Turned out to be the dome light. I took it to the dealership under warranty and they threw some more padding in the headliner and it is gone. No more rattling.

exactly what they did for mine, just I asked the guy what they used. He said it was double sided foam tape.

rattling

Hmm..I have been trying to figure out a rear end rattle on my new '05 Screw. It sounds like a cable hitting the bed or back part of the cab. I will drive down my bumpy road tonight and place my hand of the headliner to see if I can feel it.
