Up/dn buttons to right of the cd slot

what do these do? I have an XLT, and maybe these are for some function that my truck doesn't have, like the cd changer.

Just wondered if anyone knows, otherwise I'll look at the book.

i thnk that changes the CD up and down if you have a 6 disc radio in the dash, or if the radio does not have that but supports the changer controlls. It should say in that littl ebook in the glovebox

The CD TEXT button works only on specially burned CD-Rs......on our trucks that have MP3, it does display the title of the track......

However, I do also know that there are other radios out there that are NOT MP3 compatible, but do support CD TEXT on burned CD-Rs, such as the case with my fiance's Toyota RAV4 that has single disc, plain-jane stock radio.

.....figuring out how to burn where EVERY disc will show that info is still a mystery.....
