Anti-theft

My wife drove the truck home from church Sunday( I drove her blazing hot Suzuki sidekick home) and when we got ready to leave later, the truck wouldn't start. At first I thought the battery was dead, but read the manual(imagine that!) and discovered it was something to do with the anti-theft. Service dept. told me the transceiver went out on it and they have to order a new one. So, it's in the shop for at least three days.

Yeah, that was mighty nice of it to break down at home instead of the side of a highway somewhere! At least I didn't have to hoof it anywhere.

My wife has never driven the truck until Sunday, and I told her that my truck must be a jealous female who doesn't another woman to drive her.
She was beginning to believe me!

Got the truck back from the shop yesterday. They replaced the anti-theft transceiver; re-programmed the keys, and installed new front rotors to fix the shudder when stopping. They told me that it was normal for there to be a 0 to 3 second delay when applying the accelerator in reverse. Sounds like hooey to me...
