So the sway bar is hitting the support braces? That is weird. Something is not installed correctly.

Thumbs down

I just looked at the instructions on fabtechs site and the pics they have of the swaybar has like a 1/2 inch clearance and mine is practically sitting on it.

its like the sway bar drop bracket is too long..

You're right. That may be the problem. I would contact Fabtech and ask them about it. Maybe the specs on the drop brackets got off during production.

I am thinking that the spacer for the impact stuts is to long, or the rear crossmember is not long enough..

I have the same lift and I have about an inch of space. I will check the instructions and take some measurments on my truck to see what it could be.

Well figure it out.

so schwab called and said stop by they want to check something. I did, he was looking to see if they had washers inbetween the swaybar mount and the frame. They didn't but while he was underneath he grabbed the sway bar and it moved. Then we saw the freakin bolts were loose on the mount. He tightened them up and now the swaybar doesnt hit but it still looks really close.

it gets better, I left there and went to show a friend the new lift. I left his house and started to hear a rattle noise, I start to slow down and hit the brakes and then I hear a clunk, then a nice grinding noise as I come to a stop along the road. I get out and look and I see the brake caliper hanging off.

one bolt fell out and the other was finger tight. I look at the other side, SAME THING, both the bolts were backed out almost a 1/2inch.

what the hell else didnt they tighten and is going to fall off. one wheel is destroyed from the caliber, chrome peeled off all the way around, the other just has grooves..

nice. this is the first lift I didnt just do myself (first new truck and all) and had les schwab do it. I cant wait to talk to them on monday.. another mile down the road and I would have been on the freeway and things would have been really interesting with no front brakes and calipers hanging off at 70mph..

If your Schwab is on par with my local Schwab vendors, their response will be 100% satisfactory.
