A/C indicator LED

I have a green LED, factory.

I drove another MY04 F150 and MY05 mustang both with orange LEDs. Anyone know why the change? But i am happy with my green

What color is yours?

Ford changes parts vendors like underwear. If you look at the factory EVTMs, often times you'll find wire colors that don't match. This wasn't necessarily done on purpose, just that Ford found another supplier that had wiring that was cheaper, albeit a different color. So long as it works, they don't care.

The A/C, defrost, etc. lighting on my EATC control is amber.

My 04 FX4 has orange lights. My 05 Lariat has green lights. Go figure.

my a/c led is blue (cold)
my recirc led is green
and my heated mirror led is red (heat)

I would post a pic but I dont know how

I soldered them on as well as my dial indicators are red to match the gauge pointers.

not like you can see it on a sunny day, so the color really is irrelevant.

Lariats dont use LED in the button, they have a LCD indicator in the temp display that reads AC when its enabled.
