Any Michiganders out there??

I've decided the honeymoon is over with my 05 FX4 and after realizing I spent 5 hours Sunday doing a Mcguire's 3-Step program (It was so worth it), Paint cleaning, Polishing, and Waxing my truck, I am now like, sCrew it, this truck needs to get dirty. Wondering how many people we have on here that have gone out to Silver Lake Sand Dunes here in Michigan and if they tore their truck up on anything out there? Just got my DNR sticker today

Go out there and have a blast dude! I grew up just outside of Detroit (Westland) and once upon a time took my brand new 85 4x4 Ranger
out there hauling a buddy's Suzuki Quadracer in the bed. Had a great time with both of them?!

The truck made it out alive and did a pretty good job in the sand for a stock truck but I on the other hand didn't fair so well lol........I flipped the quad doing about 30 and broke my collar bone!

My advice, stay off the quadracers!!! lol

Get some pics of your truck climbing that big a$$ hill out there.....

Jeff

I've heard of the Mounds, but haven't been there...is it a quad/bike only place, or is there room for trucks? Anything to watch out for there? Anything good to look for?

Thanks.
