Bed Bolt Anchors

Hello all, just traded my 94 F150 4x2 for an 05 F150 Supercab 6-1/2' box 4x2. I'm gonna haul my Harley Davidson Electraglide Ultra and those side bed anchors will be a nice secondary anchor point but no way there the primary for this 800 pound monster. Ford's all amp'd up about those bed bolts and how they attach to the frame. There has to be some type of tie-down anchor that bolts down to the bed floor using these bed bolts. Any Help?

Thanks

Why wouldn't they hold it?

They are not holding 800#. The suspension is holding 800#. The tie downs are only there to keep the bike from going side to side. Not unlike when you push the bike to and fro to get on it, you are not pushing 800#.

They might. I'm not taking a 21,000 dollar chance.

how bout' the metal tabs from a seatbelt, where they normally bolt to the floor. the hole in the center might have to be opened up for the bed bolt and the also might fit between the ridges in the bed, the usually are silghtly bent upward at one edge with a rectangular hole. unbolt bed bolts install like a washer.
just a thought

also they would be low profile and cost$0.00 if you get some from a junker.
strength, are they not designed to withstand the force of a person trying to go forward when the vehicle has stopped instantly.
what I am talking about is where the cloth belt ends then this piece of metal is bolted to the floor of a vehicle

What a great idea! Here is what I ended up doing. $44.00 at the local welding shop. I'll look into this seatbelt anchor idea anyway.
