adding a sunroof question (can i?)

Anyone know if you can add a sunroof to the models with just the overhead compartments (and those grey sliding bars). Is it impossible due to the way the roof is molded? if not, would they have to change the whole molding to install a sunroof? if anyone has done this, what abouts did it cost you? thanks, sorry for all the questions

Sure you can.

But it'd probably be easier to buy a truck with the factory Ford sunroof in it for starters. If you ever need the aftermarket jobber serviced, finding someone to honor it's warranty (if any) or supply any replacement parts might be tough.

I never really saw the sense in cutting a hole in a perfectly good roof, factory or otherwise, myself anyways.

I'm sure there are suppliers out there with sunroofs to fit this truck. Its the best selling vehicle in the world. Even with the factory moonroofs, there is probably still demand for a $200 sunroof over a $1000 power moonroof.
