These are great trucks

Just spent the afternoon driving over Baltimore's worst roads, chock full o'ruts and crevices. Yeah, it bounced around a little but I'd rather be in the truck than some foreign tin can falling apart. The tires are so big they kind of roll over bumps instead of sinking into them.

Have to say the '150 is tight as a drum, and feels like a tank going down the road. Everybody I see says "Hey, cool truck!" and they're right.

Went across the street to the dealership tonight and wandered... the Super Duty's look cool but the interiors are not even close to the '150s. I can't see why people spend the extra bucks for them. (unless pulling a 10 ton trailer). But the '150 is so much more refined.

Love the drake! Love the truck!

I remeber reading in a recent magazine article about trucks and they labelled the F-150 as a "cruise missle" on the highway......and it dang sure is!

Love that color

Almost wish I had gone with that color.

Though I like the silver, it's very easy to keep clean. And I like the wheels on the XLT! The chrome shines up real nice. Think I'll put on some Meguiar's wax to keep them shiny and protected.

Drive a PowerStroke 6.0 Diesel and you'll understand why some folks are going for the Super Duty...

While I definitely agree with you in that these are AWESOME trucks, the Super Duty has it's own little niche in the market as well that is different from the 150. And, be reminded, the Super Duty gets a big time face lift in 07'. I think we'll see a few more bells and whistles then.

Yup

but hey there are usually babes at the gas station, at least we have something to look at while we are emptying our pockets.

Just be glad you aren't piloting an Excursion.

Super Duties are great trucks. However, as said before, as far as amenities and ride quality, the F150 wins hands down. Looking at a work truck 150 and 250 (as I was) the difference was night and day. Luckily the 150 had high enough payload for me. The 250 was gutless with the 5.4, and the interior looked like something out of 1985. My F150 is immeasurably nicer, and my gas mileage is probably 4-5 MPGs better in normal driving. However, given I could afford the gas, I'd take a regular cab Super Duty XLT with the V10 and 4.30s ANY day!

After having my '04 for better then a year now, I find the interior to be breaking in nicely. The seats are way more comfortable then they were when new (probably because I'm the only one who drives it so nobody gets a chance to ruin my *** groove! ).

The only beef I still have is with the drive by wire. Even with the most recent reflash, there is still a slight lag when I want to pass on the hiway or merge into fast traffic. Otherwise this truck is solid and has been problem free.

I agree...I hated too do it at the time but I traded my 2002 F250 4X4 7.3PSD for a 2005 SCREW KR and have NO regrets! It is the best truck I have driven too date

but they are still ahead of Chev and Dodge heavy duty trucks!
Which tells us that the F150 is light years ahead in overall design.

Add to this the fact that the Powerstroke diesel out sells the Chevy Duramax and Dodge Cummins diesels combined.
