Talking Squeezin' Her Bootie.......

I was underneath the truck today doing an oil change, when I looked at one of the ball joint boots. Reached up and gave her a squeeze......hmmm doesn't feel like there's any lube in there

Anybody know what the heck these joints are lubed with? I'm thinking about buying an injector needle for my grease gun and shooting a little grease in there. I'm kind of puzzled by this as there are no grease fittings anywhere.

I like em natural too, but these are a little thin. Maybe just a little injection to 'fatten em up'. Gotta have a little more to hold onto

Just don't go so much that they start leaking...remember what happened to DuPont...

I dunno what they use to lube the "permanently sealed" joints in newer vehicles today, but I will say this, ain't none of them permanently sealed anymore after I get my grease needle out.

Coincidentally, everything we've owned prior to my F150 and my mom's Expedition ran on the original front end stuff for a loooooooong time.
