Read the thread? Maybe figure out what my questions were, you may even be able to help. Just a suggestion. Though this thread did help raise your post count.

For the final time, I'm going through all this trouble for two reason's...

door panels.
1. So tint is well below, weather strip line
2. So I can install some window automation modules
3. New speaker run
4. Not mentioned, but probably sound deaden if I see it needs it.

Mirror-
So that when he tints it, the tint goes fully under the big housing that that is behind the mirror. In one piece.

Now, I'm not sure if you are just a little retarded, or can't read. Maybe just because your a post ***** and have no clue on this topic. Don't really care. But I can see at least 50% of your threads/posts are pretty much useless. Why would I ask about an F150 on a mustang website?

I'll enjoy every minute of the tint. Thanks.

I'm gonna ***** it up some more. Do you remember what you typed?! You said in your first post you just wanted to see behind the door panel, not actually install all the goodies or run wires... you just decided to change your story. And I haven't really looked at my window, but I'm pretty sure the mirror isn't even remotely close to being a problem for a tint nor does it actually extend over the window!

I rule and your tint drools...

EDIT: E-feelings...

Me thinks he's talking about the mirror on the WINDSHIELD. Just a guess.

no e-feelings hurt here. Give me like +10 post count and something to do. I've made a few more posts with in the thread. You read em, or just keep responding to the first thread? My mirror mount is probably about 3 times as big as the little metal piece that is glued to the windshield. So it makes sense.

My first post wasn't to deep into what I was doing, because I was just looking for a simple how to remove the panels and mirror. Didn't know I had to tell the whole story as to what I was doing.

you're like the guy at STS today. I went to get the alligment after I put on the autospring kit. The guy would allign and was giving me a rash of crap as to why I shouldn't have installed it. He didn't understand why I would want to level it either. So I drove 20 minutes to the next STS, no problems and got a "wow, that kit looks a lot better then the stock stance."

EDIT: I'm ragging on the ludicrous tint process, not the tint itself or anything else.

are you guys thinking I was talking about the side mirrors? That would explain a lot. But last I checked the rearview mirror, refers to the one on the windshield.

If you woulda wrote 'rearview' in ANY of your previous post we wouldn't be in this flame-a-thon now would we?

I can see that I didn't state REARVIEW. I only typed mirror. My bad. Makes more sense as to what is going on. Tinting the windshield is a pretty common thing. Especially on a vehicle that doesn't come with any factory tint up top. I've done it to every car I've owned and I love it. No need to use the sun visor's, and it keeps the sun off a lot more of the interior.

Anyway, I do apologize for the mirror argument. But no knowing that it's the rearview, does it make sense to you now?

True, but it was kind of fun.

I did write "door panels" and "mirror". Be kind of funny to remove more the one panel, but only one mirror. Not much of flame with that. Just thought it was kind of a funny picture.

Makes sense to me now... all that door talk got me confused about the mirror part. While I still think its odd to remove the door panel for a tint, whatever! It's your truck. As for the mirror, i have no friggen' clue on that one.

How much of the front window do you tint? The first 4-6 inches or what?

LOL

Yes, I get it tinted to the factory tint lines on the windshield. On my truck, it looks like about 5 inches.

The door panels, had other reasons to be removed, I know I posted that.

The Mirror has three or 4 bolts the hold it on. Remove the door panel and you will see them. The door panel has two bolts behind the door handle, two bolts on the bottom and remove the speaker cover and remove the speaker, then the door panel shoild pop of. I just replaced the driver's side mirror yesterday because some guy hit it with a delivery truck. By the way most good window tinters will fold the weather stripping down to apply the tint.

The REARVIEW mirror is a royal pain in the *** to remove.
I would strongly recomend you take it to your local dealership or glass place and let them attempt it.
Every person i brought my truck to told me it was 1 of the worst to remove.
At least this way you wont be the one footing the bill for the new windshield if they screwup.
I can take pics of my old mirror mount tomorrow if you would like.
Later Trev
