05 vibration

I have a 2005 SCab 150 fx4, flareside. I can feel front end vibrate through the steering wheel, and feel every bump - even the ones you can't see. i had it back to the dealer three times. last time, they verified the vibration during their road test. they rebalanced all the wheels/tires and found right rear rim bent, and they replaced it. vibration is still there. I know the off road package has stiffer suspension, but i can't believe it is supposed to be like this. it is extremely annoying - yet sometimes it seems not to do it - or not so much anyway. runs great at 70 on the interstate. i went back to the dealer and drove another exact model truck. ran the same as mine. the service rep said they contacted ford and they claim they have gotten quite a few complaints and are looking into it. has anyone else experiences this? any suggestions besides grin and bear it? thanks. jostang

A very small handfull of early 04' owners reported some vibrations but, I think I can count on one hand the number of 05' owners that have reported it...

Bummer man... best of luck getting it taken care of!

Mine is one of the early '04's. I had a bad vibe in the steering wheel up around and a little over 60, Ford replaced the rack assy. and now it runs pretty darn smooth, and that's even w/ the lift in it.

Hope Ford takes care of it for ya.

hmm, I dont notice it on mine. its does seem that you can 'feel' the road-bumps, etc. everything seems tight coming from my 97 dakota tho.

I currently have a vibration at 75 mph. I say currently because the last one was at 70 mph. The dealer balanced the tires and it took care of it for about 3 months. They also replaced my rack-because of a leak. I am assuming its just the crappy BFG's that are the problem.
