if you still have stockers, it is possible.

My left rear did the EXACT same thing. At low volume levels, any bass would sound really crappy, just like vibrating paper. Funny thing is, it quit and them came back a few times. I had never turned it up very loud previously either. I was gonna take in in for a warranty repalcement, but since it was the left rear and I replaced my front speakers with components shortly after, I just swapped out one of the old front ones for the rear to solve that problem.

Im willing to bet you still got stock speakers. Anything is better than those. I have some pioneers in my doors and they sound great.

What are some good speakers to put in with the head unit. Can I add tweeters in the front doors also? I saw the little hole there with nothing in it. I have the single cd without audiophile. thanks

If you go with a 3 or 4 way speaker I dont think you would need any additional twweters for the factory radio. I have 6x8 Pioneer 4- ways and hey sound great.

I had the same problem with my rear passenger side door. Took it to the dealer and they replaced the speaker.

Sort of a long shot, but I noticed there was a lot of crap in the front pockets on the door. The stuff was vibrating when the volume was higher which made the speakers sound screwed up. I removed the stuff and the speakers sound much better.
