2005 F150 XLT Supercab 4x2 Weight (Actual)

Here are the actual weights on a CAT scale of my truck with the following specifications:

2005 F150 Supercab XLT 144.5" WB 4x2
Exterior: Dark Toreador Red
Interior: Flint
Pkg 507A
5.4L V-8
255/65R16 OWL A/S
3.73 L/S Axle
Trailer Tow Pkg
Fog Lamps
Keyless Entry Keypad

Dealer Installed Options
Ford Bedliner
Ford Black Step Bars

7050 GVWR
15000 GCWR
9500 Tow Rating

CAT Scale Weights (With full 27.0 Gal Tank):
Curb - 5400 lb
Steer - 3000 lb
Drive - 2400 lb

Thought these might be helpful for someone buying one to tow a trailer.
The Supercrew would be roughly 100 lb heavier with the same equipment and tire size.
Ford shows a 110 lb difference but that is for base models with differing tire sizes 235/70 on Supercab and 255/65 on Supercrew.

I actually thought the 4x2's were lighter than that......The weight listings for 4x4 FX4's are not correct on edmunds.com, but they rate the Lincoln Mark LT (which is just a loaded 4x4 F-150) at 5600 lbs curb weight. So 4x4 only adds 200 lbs??

4x4 adds roughly 300 lb.

The weight on my truck is actual weight.

The Edmonds weights are Ford Weights which should be base dry curb.

My truck has a full tank (170 lb) + tube steps + bedliner which likely adds about 250 lb total.

Good grief that's heavy. I figured around 5000ish even for a Supercab.

Reg Cab Short Bed 2WD.....4925lbs EMPTY
Supercab Shortbed 2WD....5244lbs EMPTY

That is from Ford directly. I have no idea on 4WD models. But, I assume a few hundred pounds more for each.

Anyhow, we have the heaviest damn trucks of all the brands. With the least horsepower. Glad I bought a RCSB 2WD with the 5.4L....otherwise my power would be terrible. I have no idea what Ford was thinking. Ford needs a 350HP engine to keep up with the other models pound for pound in acceleration.
