Upgrade to FX4

Hey everyone, This past weekend I stoped by the Ford dealer and saw a 2005 screw fx4 silver/black, they are offering a great deal on it and i need (want) something bigger that my 04 STX. The sticker price was around 37,500 but I can get it for 28,123.plus my trade . What do you think, does that sound good. It's loaded with nurf bars and everything. I really love the looks of the truck and especially the power options that my stx dont have. When I got my STX about a year ago it was MSRP 25,000.
Later,
Brian

That price ain't too bad, it'll be better if you can get 'em to $28 or $27,500.
Do you own the STX, or are you still paying on it ? If your still paying, are
you upside down on it ? I guess what your willing to pay would be the
deciding factor. My rig off the truck was stickered at $30,990 and I got the
price down to $22,300. then negotiated everything else,
( trade, etc etc )

If you want it GO GET IT ....

you could proly buy the stickers...better shocks...some nerfs and moldings cheaper for your self rather than buying an FX4....they are just a few options added here or ther...

Sorry but last time I checked adding 4 wheel drive isn't a cheap thing to do!

What style is the FX4, regular, supercab, crewcab?

If you could get them to take your STX without owing anything you'd be in tip top shape!

JMO, but I would go with the lariat 4 x 4. It's a bit nicer inside and out, and has a bit of luxury to it that the FX4 doesn't have.

I like my FX4, but being an old guy (43) I should have gone with the lariat.

You don't get much on the FX4 that would help you in a real offroad situation.

Get all the extras you can, trust me.

So there's 3 grand your adding to the equation. Negotiate the price of the truck then go from there.. Get 'em as low as they'll go, then tell 'em drop it
another 10 % Good luck .....

I say go for it! My sticker price was 39,700 and even with "A" Plan I got it for $33,500 back in January.
