Question Wet Okoles holding up?

I thought I'd invest in some seat covers after an unfortunate accident with some upholstry cleaner(dont ask). I have been doing some searching on the site. Were they worth the money, and do yall still like em? :o

Okole's are well made and durable. Only thing is that in the summer heat, they retain heat like crazy. I have them in another truck I own and they were installed because of a tear in the seat, and they look great...but you get a sweaty butt during the summer. Id opt for Catskinz leather if youre looking for leather and awsome covers.

Don't have them yet in my FX4 but had them in my Bronco and loved them. With the neoprene they do hold the heat in a bit during the summer. It's a wee bit uncomfortable in the crack area without A/C ....

I found that even with the AC on, since your butt doesnt get any air from the vents, your're still very hot and uncomfortable.

wet okole

I have them in several of my trucks and I absolutely love them. They look bada$$ and they fit the seats very well. You do get a little sweety in the ****, but overall they're way worth it. Plus after I surf I can hop into to the truck soaking wet and the covers hold up perfect.
Just make sure to us the uv conditioner and the sampoo every now and then and you'll be good to go.

With the major store being in Honolulu, alot of people have them here. You see them in Jeeps alot and everyone loves them.

they were originally invented and made in hawaii. That's the capitol of the 'wet okole' world. Since they got popular, the manufacturing is now done in CA, although Hawaii still makes their's there I believe...

and yes, they hold up great. As for Hot butts, never been a problem for me.

I got mine in Costa Mesa and had them installed for free. But I also live less then 10 minutes from them.
