Question Coil Packs????

Maybe this is a stupid question, but when i had my '98 mustang GT i had coil packs for the 4.6 , but when i look at the 4.6 under the F-150 hood, i can't tell where they are? Can you help me out here...... Cause i was thinking about buying the MSD 6 OffRoad for better fuel combustion. But with out the coil packs i don't know if it will handle it. Any ideas on this matter?

P.S. New the the forum! and Luvin It!!!!!

Well, aint that a surprise. Just went out to look. Great responce time by the way! So i guess this means no spark plug wires to upgrade in the futer. So what about the MSD6 Offroad Box? Will it work or burn up the wires?

You really shouldnt need any upgrades to a COP system. I would spend that money on other things that might actually gain you some power

I was thinking in lines of better fuel economy, i know i can get a truck top which will save me more on gas. But, it won't lower my emmisions. Hence better spark, more combustion, it has a spark rate of 3 time per cyl. each time it ignites below 3k rpm, above that it has one long spark.

My main concern is emisions, before i do anything else. So i know i'm not screwing up the enviroment more than i have too. That's why i got the smaller v8. Since i don't drive fast (speed limit or lower if noones behind me) I'm not into more power unless i'm goin through the mud...since i have stock tires still and no lift, i do moderate 4 wheelin. So....

Would it work for my rig? Would i have to put in new wires and plugs so i don't burn the stock ones up?
