45 Minutes! Nice timing, it took me and my bro (with hand tools) almost a full day but I didnt mind cuz I love spending some nice quality time with my truck. Anyways it looks great, though now it kinda makes your tires look a little shrimpy.

Looks great. I've been considering do that to my truck, but was looking at daystars...any input? How's the ride and handling?

I installed the 2.5" autospring a few months ago and I couldn't be more pleased. I was fully expecting the ride to stiffen up but it did'nt. The installation took me less than 1.5 hours by myself and that was with hand tools and a bottle jack. No special tools required except a 30mm 1/2"drive socket that I borrowed from Autozone

My SCAB sits almost level with the nose slightly lower than the bed.

Just remember to get your truck aligned very soon after to keep from chewing up the tires.

I've got my 1.5" kit sitting here on my desk. $118.00 with shipping. I'm just going to have the shop install it and do the alignment at the same time. They're thinking 100.00 total. I can't wait.

They are better than the 235's that came with it. And I did not want to have to hear the wife yelling about the amount I spent for a "winter set" as well. This size tire has done me well in the past for a non-sliding-on-slush ride in the winter. I have had 33x12s on an older truck and just hated how it handled in the snow.

As far as handling...no difference. The ride is still smooth. the lift went in and the front measures at the top of the wheel well less than a 1/2 inch difference. When the pop up camper is on there really is no squat as it only has a 180lbs tongue weight. I dont load my truck that often.

I know. Its sad. I had asked my brother in law for the aluminum wheel and larger tire option. He had sad no prob. When I drove to Toledo OH to get it....it had little shoes.

I asked how long to get the pkg I asked for and since we were only there for one overnight (had to work) He tossed on some chrome step bars to make me happy.

What I really think happened was that a guy took the tires for himself and gave me the ones off his Focus.......
