They are right, you can't use any rebates or incentives this time. However, if you complain enough, they won't make you pay for the miles on your current truck. I didn't. They worked on mine since the day I picked it up so the FSE did not make me pay for the miles. Check your state's lemon law as well. Some states only make you responsible for miles up to your first service visit for the problem.

I've been reading about all the '04 issues, I almost got one. I'm glad I found this site. I was looking at getting a used '04. Now I'm looking at an '05 screw. I luv the looks of these trucks. I test drove the '05, got on the freeway, everything seems to be ok. I did notice how tight the steering is, my '97 dakota feels like crap now. The 150 felt like it had 'go cart' steering.

I got the financing but I just havn't pulled the trigger yet.. the dak is paid off so its hard to take a huge truck payment... Plus I'd have to lift the 150.. $$$


maybe I should wait for an '06?
