Discount Tire?

Well Im going to be getting new wheels and tires very soon. Im just making sure on this, Discount can order whatever kind of wheel you want. I.E. Im trying to get a Helo Maxx 6 18" for around $240.

Also does anyone know if Nitto Mud Grapplers or BFG M/Ts come in a 33x12.50x18?

I have a good friend who worked there for a while and im not sure if it was just because he could hook me up or not but he said they could pretty much order anything you want or you could just ordet them yourself and they will put them on for a price. As far as the 33" muds for an 18" rim, I think your gonna have some trouble.

Nitto - http://www.nittotire.com/popup_mudgrappler_sizes.asp
LT35x12.50 R18
LT37x13.50 R18
LT38x15.50 R18

BFG - http://www.bfgoodrichtires.com/asset...rain_ta_km.pdf
35x12.50R18/D
37x12.50R18/D

Well like i said about the rims.... you should be able to order the tires elsewhere and just have them installed at discount if thats what you need. At leats thats what i was told by my friend but ill ask him if thats just because he worked there and could do it for me personally.

Heres the thing, I want to make sure I don't have any problems. Such as I buy the wheel and tire at a seperate places, I'd have to go back to both of them if there was a problem with my truck shaking violently or something. If I buy them both at Discount Tire, I can just say they need to take them back and I want my money back.

If you could ask him if they match prices and if anyone finds out how much they want for a Nitto Terra Grappler 325/60/18?

Whats up Thumper....Sounds like you and I are pretty much in the same situation, I am getting a set of 18" Helo Maxx 6s here in a couple weeks and am debating which 33" tire I want. Big O tires told me they could get the Helo for $245, which I thought was a pretty good deal. The dude at Big O said he could get anything I wanted and that he would beat most any price too, so I am thinking I'll just get everything through them. I am still debating tires. It's a toss-up between the Nitto, Toyo and I really like the Pro Comp Xterrains ( Big O said they'd sell me those for 299/tire).

It's a tough decision. I'm not sure about Nitto but I know Toyo makes a 33x13.5 (325x60x18)......I'm also lookin at the Pro Comp Xtreme AT in a 33x13.5 too.....

One thing I do know is that we'll have the sickest wheels on the whole site

Thats a real good point. I just called him and he said they do not price match because of something like they include rotation and the road hazard warranty and all that into the price of the rims and tires. He doesnt know exact prices and he hasnt been working there for 2 or 3 weeks because they let him have a break for school since hes graduating but he goes back on monday. If you still need help he said he could find out then. I do know that they tend to be on the high side, a while ago I stopped by and the manager gave me a price of around $950 for 285/70/17 BFG AT's. I'd figure the nittos yours looking at would be around the same price range.

That is the exact reason I went to Discount Tire for both tires and wheels. I called them the other day to see about tires for my 2000 F150 and he said they *CAN* get Toyo's but Nittos are usually in stock. He also said he can get most any wheel/tire brands. You need to call Discount Tire.

I know they are not the size but Nittos are good tires and pretty inexpensive. My 265s were only 104 apiece. Make sure to ask them at Discount...for a discount. They even cut back the Bf Goodriches I had on my last truck. Both times they tossed the 15$ per tire road hazard in for free. Just ask. They want your buisiness.

Im going this morning, I just doubt they'd have the Helo Maxx 6 18s for the 6x135 lug pattern in stock. IF they do that'd be so awesome. I don't mind waiting for them though. I feel like a little kid on christmas!
