Got my new Lariat

Just got my new 2005 Lariat this last week. My wife now has the 2004 FX4, we're now a Ford family. You should see trying to get these two beasts in the garage at the same time, fits but just barely.

Immediate mods are Undercover and either Bedrug or LineX (can't decide). We have the Bedrug in the 2004 and love it.

I've heard of worse problems....

That is a nice looking truck. Two tone really looks good on the SuperCrew!
Congrats.

That's a sweet looking truck.

Whenever I trade mine in, it'll be on a white or white/beige Lariat Supercrew. Seeing your white/beige might have shifted my opinion towards another two tone truck.

Now that is a sweet truck!

Just be carefull pulling that bad boy into the garage, you wouldn't want to hit the garage itself like our boy Triton! I couldn't resist myself!

That is a beautiful truck. Mine is solid white, but youyr two tone is what I wanted. I just couldn't find one equipped as I wanted at the time. Well done!

Nice Trucks!

Shouldn't your wife get the Lariat though? I mean, I think I'd feel kind of goofy telling people that I drive the cushy truck, and my wife drives the manly FX4.

Seriously though, nice pair of trucks dude.

Congrats on the new Lariat...wow a FX4 and a Lariat bedding down together.

You know you are killing the FX4 vs Lariat threads right?

Again...congrats on the truck

so now that you got both, can you feel any difference in ride quality between the two?

Mach, you're exactly right. Wife is getting the Lariat after we get a shell put on the bed. The ARE shell on the FX4 gives her more flexibility with the kids for now.

SteveVFX4, the 2005 seems to ride so much smoother and quiter than the 2004 FX4. My wife says the FX4 sounds more like a diesel engine, which to be honest I kinda miss.

Thumper, I'm thinking of Triton proofing my garage, maybe with some padded wall bumpers. Just kidding.

Thanks for all the comments guys.
