Lightbulb Let there be KC Lights!

I finally got done installing my new KC lights on my truck. It took forever to get everything perfect and looking factory, things just kept coming up. Funny how things work like that some time. I still don't even have the switch how I want it. I thought I'd make a bracket so I wouldn't have to drill into the kick panel, well it looks good but when I tried to put the damn kick panel back on the wires won't go up and behind it. So I think Im just going to order a new kick panel and screw the switch into the orginal kick panel. The lights are bright as hell even during the day time! I can't wait to test them out tonight on my friends and out in the woods. Im picking up the chrome rock guards today for them hopefully, they'll be in. I got jacked on the price since I bought locally, $183 for the 2 lights, everything needed to install, and the chrome rock guards. I still love them though!

Much better. Now you can see the envy on your neighbors faces from halfway down the block even at night!

how about flush mounting the switch in the little black panel next to the cigarette lighter? That would require some more hacking/drilling, but it would look cool there!

I was going to actually flush mount the switch inside of the slot below my headunit, but I realized that if I put it any further over than I did. All my friends would be flipping the switch and I'd be driving around with my lights on.

That KC is great stuff!

But...That price seems high to me..

I paid KC (2) black 130watts for $125, of course from E bay..Chrome should be about $135 or so

YOMAN!

Hey thump, go take a side-profile pic. Are those the standard or slim lites?

Now I know what they'll look like on my truck! Sweet!

Hey Thump,
Why don't you wire your KC's in with the factory fog lights then you won't have to mount another switch in your truck somewhere

I didn't want to do that, I wanted to be able to turn them on by themselves. These things are bright as hell and will light some cars up. I almost made my friend crash from these things!

They are the KC Daylighters 100w, I actually like these better than the Slim Lights but thats just me. They stick out about 3" with the chrome rock guards.

I'll get pictures tomorrow with the chrome rock guards.
