Question Any '05 Owners Here Install Dual Exhaust?

Wanting to install dual ehaust on new '05 F150, 5.4L. I heard a rumor that duals will affect computer and want to know more. Anybody have info or experience with duals on new truck?

Interestingly, out of all my research on pre-fabbed after market exhaust systems, I cannot find a bolt-on type DUAL exhaust system for my truck. All I can find is Cat-Back exhaust

Exhaust doesnt mess with anything as long as you either keep your cats or turn off the o2's

Why would you spend so much for bolt on when you can spend less money for a fab'ed job that 99% turns out better than bolt on.

asinatra,

There are all kinds of after market manufacturers that offer complete, from heads back, exhaust systems for Mustangs. Wasn't sure if there was anybody offering the same for F150's.

I have true duals cut right behind the cats on my 04 5.4L. Two seperate pipes ran into 2 flowmaster 40 series, then ran straight out the back into chrome rolled tips. Good tone, quiet when just crusin, loud when you ge on it.

Cost me $460.00 to have the muffler shop to do everything.
