I am going to get either the full Airaid intake kit or just the intake tube, where it leaves the factory filter.
I have read on this board where only the AF1 and the full Airaid kit do not create a lean condition. Does the Airaid intake tube also create a lean condition. If I go with the full kit how does the Airaid filter work compaired to the factory filter? By this I mean does it filter the dirt out as well as the factory filter. Is it worh spensing the extra $$$ to go with the entire kit? As always thanks for the input guys. Jon

I have had both.(currently have the intake kit) Both will work without any of the lean condition you hear about, but the intake tube(MIT) doesn't make near the power that the intake kit does...Kevin

 

I have the full Airaid kit and have had no issues with lean conditions or check engine lights coming on. It's a nice intake, you can't wrong with it...
