Disk Changer controller

I was wondering if anyone would know the answer to this question. Does the radio/CD player that comes in the 2005 XLT have the abuility to connect an external disk changer. The reason I am asking this is because of it does, then there are I Pod interface controllers on the market that can be plugged into this outlet or connection on the back, and will allow you to work the I Pod with the C/D changer controls.

Sure doesn't on the 04. I would be surprised if it did on any year, as that would be in competition with the six disk units that ford wants to sell you...

Don't have an ipod, but I have installed a few stereos, computer linkups, DVDs, etc. The usual junk.
Would it be bad to use one of the RF systems? With the easy pull dash, it would only take a few minutes to put in a hardwire modulator.
Or am I missing something on the ipod?

I am not sure, i have been looking at this for a couple of days now, and there does not seem to be anything out there for the 04/05 year stereo, Looks like i am going to be forced to go to an after market system to get this, But the reviews I am reading on the Alpine, Pioneer, and kenwood stereo systems is not very rewarding, they all have an interface that is available on certain syetems, But they all have there up's and downs with them, It seems that the I pod software is the problem.

I was wondering about this as well. What about the auxillary input ? I know there is a button for it on my unit. How would you wire a line to work off of that ?
