Question About Everyones Paint Job

Hey everyone quick question,

Can you guys check an area on your trucks. If you open the front drivers side door (or an door for that matter) and look at the very bottom 1 inch on the outside of the door. To me it look like the paint here is very rough or almost bubbling. Is this the same on your trucks?

Thanks for your help.

I think that there is a bit of texture on those lower rockers but, not too much....

Further, every FoMoCo paint job I've ever detailed or laid eyes upon shows definite signs of 'orange peel'.

That is purposely put there(notice how perfectly straight it is) to protect against rock chips.

I've scratched that part while offroading. Its a very thick layer of paint and primer, no air bubbles.

although the lower 1` inch on the inside of the door is definitely bubbling, chipping and rusting.
