Can anyone find this emblem for less then $35?

Anyone know where to get this emblem, 2L1Z-7842528-ABB for less then $35? $35 seems like a lot for a stick on emblem from ford. I called 2 dealerships for it already. And I can't find anything online to buy it. Anyone??

Here's where I got the part number...

Thats about the going rate dude. I got mine online off Ford Parts Network for $32 but had to pay shipping on top of that.
Cough it up,,, its worth it!
note: an easier way to apply it is to use clear packaging tape over the entire 3 piece emblem before you remove all the backing plastic, that will hold the pieces in positon while you apply it and you wont have to try to pick the backing plastic outa it later.

good idea, I use a soap mixture too, so i have some play in re-adjustment's. $35 just seems high, but oh-well. I'll go to the dealership at lunch and pick one up.

You might want to find a sign company that works with vinyl letters. The could scan it and probably make you an exact replica for about the same. You might get lucky and get a couple made for the price of one and sell it on ebay. Just a thought.

I have my own 48" vinyl cutter. But that part number is for a raised emblem not vinyl. I just got back from ordering it from the dealership. $41.45 with tax. I'll have it tomorrow. My third mod already. Got the truck Friday, put the flowmaster catback on it Sunday, put in a radio, Monday, and tomorrow an emblem. Sweet.

Except the radio wont flip open, So I am going to get the kenwood 7015 instead.

put the fugger on and the damn thing is slightly crooked. I even measured and used the packing tape. Damn it anyway

And it is on there good. I'll have to hope that maybe a heat gun can get it hot enough to just slide them a little. It's like an 1/8" it's off. Makes me mad. The tape must have stretched on me or something. I measured like six times.

ewww,

If you cant get them to move, Use a hardryer and fish line to remove and then you always can JB Weld them back on!

they just popped off, just kept a little tension on them as I pulled and the adhesive pulled itself all off. And I reinstalled them using the soap solution. worked perfect, and the soap let me get them on 100% perfect this time. Should have just used it the first time.

I may try to find a different F150 emblem now. Something with the 4 characters all seperate, like the FX4 emblem.

I kinda figured that. Probably makes it easy to line up the emblems when ford installs them, but I would put the new F150 logo over it. I am going to start looking at older model F150 emblems and see what they looked like. I'm sure there is one out there that is exactly what I am looking for.
